Saturday Mornings

This all started on my first Saturday class- yeah I know right? Whatever happened to T.G.I.F.?

ANYWAY. It started out with one of my professors who let's just say needs certain classes. I mean yeah we may get a little noisy, but what kind of people would we be if we'd act normal on Saturday MORNING classes???

Of course the class had to start some time...

Then all of a sudden, she hears someone breathing- she starts freaking out!

But instead of getting freaked out or scared of her "Hulk moments" I just end up seeing cats pop-up out of nowhere?!?

And the more she freaks out, the more cats start popping up!!!

Oh how I'll miss my Saturday mornings...

My Sister's Invitation

My sister is turning nine this month, so my mom decided to ask me to design the invite. Mia's 9th birthday party will be a sleepover where in my mom and I are going to set up a whole bunch of activities for the girls that are invited.

LIST OF ACTIVITIES:

 Baking
 Decorating Cupcakes
 Decorating of Ice cream
 Playing dress up
 Board games

And a whole bunch of other stuff... Which is why the cover of the invitation will look like the image below!

This image will be the inside part of the invitation that contains all the information. I chose to make bunny slippers, just because my sister has always been OBSESSED with bunny rabbits.

Pictures of the party will be posted soon!

Chelsea

This year I've only been given a one day weekend, so what better way than to spend it eating at Chelsea's with my mom and sisters?

This is my sisters' favorite! Jalpeno and Emmental Fondue with Rye bread, Tostillas chips, bell peppers, olives, cherry tomatoes, and baby potatoes!

My mom and I shared Herbed Chicken with Spinach Gorgonzola.

Lastly mom ordered for my sisters this Meat pizza with sun dried tomatoes. YAY!

Poster Making

For one of my projects in school, we had to make either a campaign video, plug, comic, brothure, or poster about how to be a better student for our school community. I decided that I'll just make a poster since we only have a week to do it.

In my poster I illustrated 8 simple, POSSIBLE things to do:

And with these 8 tips, I came out with a poster looking like this! YAY!

To Drink, or Not to Drink

This all started when my friend and I arrived too early for school, so then we decided to hang-out in Starbucks for a while.

During that time, I was trying to stop my habit of drinking coffee every morning; sort of like a way for me to lose weight. Now that I look back, why would I have gone to a coffee place if im trying to avoid coffee??? AND SO because of me going to Starbucks, this is what happened...

My friend tried to offer me some of her coffee, and right at that moment I could feel myself gravitating towards her drink...

But then I realized I shouldn't because I'm trying to lose weight and to avoid getting to dependent on coffee every morning.

Until she told me "A sip wouldn't hurt" of course, because I was already in such a fragile state...

I took a sip. Then all of a sudden-

I saw myself 5 times my normal size!

Sad child.

Outfit Shot 3 (Day of Music Video Shoot)

MY FAVORITE STOCKINGS IN THE WORLD.

The story behind my outfit is that it's sort of supposed to be inspired by the theme of the music video "Not In Love" by Crystal Castles ft. Robert Smith. The reason for this is because my class is required to make a song based on our wika (a big part of our cultureand what we've learnt about it so far. After which, we'll have to shoot a music video/karaoke type of thing for it as our midterm project. So yeah... I'm the girl in the video- awkward.

After a 3-hour long English class, we decided to have an outfitshot to somewhat make our day more productive.

And then my friend told me "move to the center of the hallway", so of course I did. At the beginning everything was fine, I was making the most of the space (as you can see in the fourth picture), I was getting the confidence to start "posing", then all of a sudden a blockmate passes by. I couldn't do anything else but try and hide the embarassment by saying "Hey girl!?" (in the fifth picture).

And when I finally stand up and attempt to act like a "normal", not hyper student, I get pounced on by my other friend Colette.

Introducing my phorographer, Cine!

She is my blockmate/ math-genius/ layout artist/ music video director/ video editor/ crazy good free hand drawing artist/ ass-kicker in P.E./ english einstein/ ho-ho... etc.

In short (as we'd say it in out little group): "totally QUILTS"

Thanks Cine!

Effects of Alcohol

So a couple of days ago, it was my first time to actually try and drink after school with my friends and the feeling was just so different. I actually felt- old, then eventually it all felt "laggy" as my friend would say. So then we started to talk about what kind of character they end up being when they're drunk. These are a few of the kinds of drunks we were able to classify:

The Angry Drunk

Zombified/ Bloodshot Drunk

The Heartbroken Drunk
 The Sleepy Drunk

The "Never stop til you drop" Drunk

The Hyper Drunk

Make-out Drunk

The Emotional Drunk

In which category do you fit in?

Wannabe Hipster

HOW TO LOOK "TOTALLY DECK?!"

Skinny jeans is a must if you want to look like a hipster. It can actually be for both guya and girls, but then the guys are the o nes that usually wear the skinny jeans while girls opt for jeggings, leggings, or treggings- whatever basically ends with "ings". So in short- the tighter the better.

Guy hipsters can actually have different types of looks...

Look 1: Shaved/ Haven't reached puberty vibe

Look 2: Moustache with the Austin Powers chest hair

Look 3: Hasn't shaved a day in his life

FOR TOPS:  Ironic tees, cowboy tops, plaids, paisley, checkers, florals, deep v-necks, shirts with images of forests, animals, TV characters, vintage shows

Girl hipsters can also wear "mommy-jeans" a.k.a. high-waisted pants of shorts with any top. (It's in the hipster style to "not care" about what they wear so they "don't plan" what they're wearing.) Or you can wear a dress with some chucks, since nowadays chucks are pretty universal, you can wear them with a formal gown and no one would really care.

SHOES: Moccassins, Oxforda, Laced VANS, Keds, Chucks/Converse, Sandals, Flats, Cowboy boots

FOR SOME REASON...

Hipsters like wearing ironic clothes and accessories. For example, over-sized glasses, shutter shades, nerdy glasses, or even Ray Ban Wayfarers (if you can afford them)
ACCESSORIES: They may vary, there's no limit to the kinds of accessories you would want to wear. Neon belts, printed socks, printed stockings, colorful friendship bracelets, techni-color nailpolish, hairbands with HUGE flowers on them, Indian-American head pieces, piercings, tattoos, iPOD.

REMEMBER: There is a difference between your right (normal) size and a hipster size. So if you want to get your hipster size, be sure that when you're trying to close your pants, you have a really hard time trying to close them- just to make sure they're extra extra extra tight. AND if you're planning on buying a hoodie, buy one that's body-fit.
